Who We Are

A Leader in Community Development.

Leadership East Texas is a dynamic and transformative program designed to empower individuals looking to refine and elevate their leadership skills. As a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization, we are deeply committed to the development and growth of both current and future leaders across East Texas. Founded by the Greater Cleveland Chamber of Commerce in late 2020, LET provides a platform for emerging leaders to cultivate essential leadership qualities and contribute meaningfully to their communities.

Each year, a new cohort of business and community leaders is selected to embark on an immersive journey of skill development, community engagement, and hands-on leadership experience. Central to the program is a class project, where participants collaborate on initiatives that directly benefit the local community. This project offers a unique opportunity for class members to apply their leadership training in real-world settings, delivering tangible, lasting impact.

Beyond the class project, Leadership East Texas fosters invaluable relationship-building among participants, encouraging a collaborative exchange of ideas, strategies, and actions that drive positive change in our communities. This program equips emerging leaders, professionals, and organizations with the tools they need to grow into confident, capable leaders—ready to enhance the quality of life and create meaningful change in East Texas.
